This week in media I learned how to format my puzzle pieces. I learned how to get a good balance of pictures and text. I learned that a lot of books in my section are battered and need to go to the book hospital. I learned what cut out we're doing for our winter project. And finally, I learned that Stargirl, by Jerry Spinelli, is a very good book
This week I learned how to do a puzzle piece. I learned how to do our Winter project. I learned how we need to format our puzzle pieces. I learned that recently a lot of people have been reading Goosebumps because I've been having to shelve a lot of those. And finally I've learned what we need to make our puzzle pieces about. That's what I learned this week.
This week in media I learned that Heidi is an important realistic fiction book in my section. I learned that The Cay is an important book in my section. I learned how to easily find historical fiction in my section. I learned how to easily find realistic fiction in my section. And I learned how to easily find science fiction in my section. That is what I learned this week.
This week I learned that I have a book in my section published in 1970. I learned that there was a test for Spiderman verses Doctor Octopus on RC but it doesn't work. I learned that Mildred D. Taylor is a very important author in my section. I learned that Theodore Taylor had a book published in 1970. I learned that we will be making RC tests n sports books next. That's what I learned this week.
This week I learned that Mrs. Holleman doesn't like to get rid of old books. I learned that I have a few books from my section that were published in the 1950s. I learned that Mrs. Holleman will not unless necessary get rid of the classics. I learned that several books in my section were published in the 1960s. And finally I learned that we get rid of books when no one checks them out or they are in bad condition. That's what I learned this week.
This week I learned in media how to write an appropriate RC question for a book. I also learned how t make an appropriate answer to my RC questions. I learned that sometimes the easiest RC questions to come up with are about the setting. I learned that we need 5 sets of RC questions done by the end of the quarter. And finally I learned I will never forget my books in the classroom again.
This week I learned how to shelve books by call number. I learned how to put the call numbers on books. I learned hot to not bunch up the tape on the books. I learned how to cut the tape properly. And finally, I learned how to shelve non-fiction books by author if the call number is the same.
This week I learned that you can pre-order books at the book fair. I learned that we sell posters at the book fair. I learned that pennies knock down your score in the grade bucket challenge. I learned that the"junk"(non-books) we sell is new this year. I also learned people really like to read I Survived books based on how often i re-shelve them. That's what i learned this week.
This week I learned that we only have 2 copies of book one in The series of Unfortunate events. I learned that I have at least 5 authors with more than 5 titles in my section. I learned that I have multiple books that have 4 copies. I learned that Theodore Taylor has a book series "The Cay". And I also learned that we have no copies of book 2 in a Series of Unfortunate Events.
